Service Delivery Specialist – Compute Operations

What are we looking for?

Design, build, configure, install, monitor and support physical and virtual Linux server environments
Deliver high-quality, timely support for Hybrid Cloud infrastructure using ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Event Management)
Restore services during outages or degradation and proactively address issues
Provide root cause analysis and permanent fixes for major outages and recurring issues
Execute planned/unplanned modifications or replacements in Cloud Infrastructure
Knowledge of VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter)
Liaise with vendors (Redhat, VMware, Ansible) for infrastructure management and support
Ensure backup needs are met and technical documentation is up to date
Monitor and analyze performance, implementing improvements as needed
Oversee patching and vulnerability management
Facilitate automation and standardization to improve efficiency

And if you meet the following criteria

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Data Center/Cloud support as Analyst/Engineer in enterprise hybrid environments, with a focus on Linux, Azure administration or VMware
Experience installing Linux environments manually and via automation on physical and virtual platforms
Experience with Linux distributions Redhat & Ubuntu, both standalone and clustered
Knowledge of VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter)
General Azure Cloud administration knowledge
Remote troubleshooting of equipment and virtual environments
Participate in joint troubleshooting for issues spanning On-Prem and Cloud infrastructure
