What are we looking for?

Technical skills: in-depth knowledge of database analysis and programming (SQL, SAS, Python). Well-versed in the SAS Viya 4.0 application for the development and implementation of data analysis solutions. Additional experience in automating process controls/job scheduling with automation software (UC4) would be an advantage
Professional skills: knowledge/experience in compliance issues such as the detection of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions in the banking environment
Analytical & strategic skills: analytical and strategical thinking, working in a structured and independent manner and ability to quickly analyze, prepare and clearly present complex issues. Ability to fully accompany the entire life cycle from the idea to production readiness: translation of technical requirements into technical design, development, independent testing and documentation
Soft skills: high level of initiative and ability to work in a team, familiar with agile working and already gained experience in dynamic international teams
Ideally, a good command of English and German, both written and spoken. Commitment and openness to new topics, technologies and challenges. Language: German and English Tasks
Data analysis: identification of patterns and trends in accordance with compliance requirements in anti-money laundering, counter to terrorist financing and sanctions. Analysis of data flows and development of solution concepts to optimize processes and models in the compliance environment
Development & Implementation: development and implementation of new functionalities in SAS Viya 4.0, possibly in combination with Python and optimize alert generation. Definition of own test cases, their execution and documentation
Operations/production: input and output data analysis to ensure high delivery quality. Being on hand to help in the event of complications and competently support the incident and problem process with a specialist knowledge
Collaboration: working closely with product owners, business experts, engineers, architects, and standard-setters in an agile environment in compliance

What you need to bring:

Good experience in SAS Viya 4
Knowledge/experience in compliance issues such as the detection of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions in the banking environment
Experience with working on the development and implementation of new functionalities in SAS Viya
