What are we looking for?
- Trade reconciliation – Quality of data in our systems, along with the Front Office team investigate any differences and fix them
- Future settlement and Margin call of both base and precious metals book
- Optimize broker credit lines utilization
- Margin optimization via clearing and OTC solutions
- Analyse commodities derivatives book and provide daily/weekly/monthly KPIs to Front Office and Management
- Work closely with accounting and treasury, ensure timely payment and proper records in the ERP
- Handle the Forex reconciliation and settlement in due time – FX Spot, Forward, Swap deals
- On a weekly basis, analyze the outstanding physical positions per bank and arrange relevant transfer of hedges under Tripartite Agreements with Brokers
- Assist Financing team with various physical position reports – Shared with IXM bank partners
- Intercompany reconciliations, payments processing, monthly invoicing
- Projects coordination: analysis and improvement of existing processes/reports; system improvements, including back-office tool review
- Supervise processes and technical tasks, write, and maintain policies/procedures
- Broker Relationship Management, both Clearing and OTC, together with commercial/legal review assistance.
And if you meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or international trade
- 2-3 years’ experience in Derivatives in a back office or middle office position
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Attention to detail and strong sense of responsivity
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle assignments in an organized way
- Strong motivation to learn and quick to adapt to corporate environment
- Good communicator with proactive attitude
- Good Excel skills
- Good understanding of macro analysis

What are we looking for?
- Technical skills: in-depth knowledge of database analysis and programming (SQL, SAS, Python). Well-versed in the SAS Viya 4.0 application for the development and implementation of data analysis solutions. Additional experience in automating process controls/job scheduling with automation software (UC4) would be an advantage
- Professional skills: knowledge/experience in compliance issues such as the detection of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions in the banking environment
- Analytical & strategic skills: analytical and strategical thinking, working in a structured and independent manner and ability to quickly analyze, prepare and clearly present complex issues. Ability to fully accompany the entire life cycle from the idea to production readiness: translation of technical requirements into technical design, development, independent testing and documentation
- Soft skills: high level of initiative and ability to work in a team, familiar with agile working and already gained experience in dynamic international teams
- Ideally, a good command of English and German, both written and spoken. Commitment and openness to new topics, technologies and challenges. Language: German and English Tasks
- Data analysis: identification of patterns and trends in accordance with compliance requirements in anti-money laundering, counter to terrorist financing and sanctions. Analysis of data flows and development of solution concepts to optimize processes and models in the compliance environment
- Development & Implementation: development and implementation of new functionalities in SAS Viya 4.0, possibly in combination with Python and optimize alert generation. Definition of own test cases, their execution and documentation
- Operations/production: input and output data analysis to ensure high delivery quality. Being on hand to help in the event of complications and competently support the incident and problem process with a specialist knowledge
- Collaboration: working closely with product owners, business experts, engineers, architects, and standard-setters in an agile environment in compliance
What you need to bring:
