MS Fabric & Power BI Engineer

Within a cluster-based delivery organization, the team is responsible for the development and continuous enhancement of a customer data master system. The platform provides centralized availability and processing of customer data worldwide.
Seven agile teams continuously work on the development and enhancement of the system and its functionality.

What are we looking for?

Planning, consulting and technical implementation of complex migration and modernization initiatives across application and infrastructure environments
Migration of applications from IBM WebSphere to a containerized on-premises cloud platform based on OpenShift
Migration of business-critical applications from an on-premises cloud environment to Microsoft Azure Public Cloud
Execution of technology upgrades and modernization of existing applications, including migration from Java 8 to Java 21
Modernization of the application landscape by migrating Spring-based applications to Spring Boot and REST-based architecture
Design, development and implementation of a Spring Boot-based REST application for email address verification
Design, implementation and deployment of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing and deployment processes
Administration and configuration of Argo CD for automated deployments across OpenShift and Kubernetes environments
Use of GitHub Copilot and Generative AI to support software development and accelerate implementation, refactoring and modernization activities
