The role is for a CI/CD cluster and is responsible for the development and provision of services in the area of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration and Agile Quality Assurance. Focus is on providing automated deployment environments, customized delivery pipelines, test automation tools and expertise, as well as onboarding services to other projects within the Bank sector.

The goal is to drive the standardization and simplification of testing practices across the organization.

What are we looking for?

As Senior Test Automation Consultant with AI focus, you will consult and support delivery teams in analysing, improving and scaling test automation landscape across projects and clusters.

You will assess current automation setups, identify challenges and inefficiencies and propose practical, scalable solutions by combining modern test automation frameworks, CI/CD practices and AI-driven approaches.

You will work hands-on together with the teams, supporting them from initial assessment through implementation and adoption. You will guide them in selecting and using the most suitable test automation tools, frameworks, test environments and test data solutions, while also introducing and enabling AI-supported testing approaches.

Main tools and skills needed for Senior Test Automation Consultant with AI:

• Test Automation Expertise (hands-on) – designing and implementing automation frameworks, defining best practices, improving maintainability and scalability
• Playwright/Selenium – practical experience in UI/API automation including framework setup, execution and reporting
• AI in Testing – experience in applying AI to test automation (tokenization, context engineering, test generation, optimization, analysis, support of AI agents)
• CI/CD Pipelines – integration of automated tests into delivery pipelines, configuration and optimization
• Test Automation Frameworks – deep understanding of architecture patterns and framework design
• Test Environments – understanding of environments, service virtualization and dependencies
• Test Data Provisioning – managing test data and supporting stable test execution

Main Tasks:

• Identifying gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Analysing and assessing test automation landscape in projects and clusters
• Consulting Leads and teams in definition and improvement of test automation strategies
• Consulting on selection and implementation of automation frameworks and tools
• Supporting integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting usage of test environments and test data
• Designing and executing proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate solutions, especially AI-driven approaches
• Introducing and promoting AI-supported testing approaches, including test generation, analysis/optimization and support for AI agents
• Developing and providing reusable assets, such as templates, framework components, best practices and documentation
• Driving adoption and standardization of test automation practices, including trainings, demos, community contributions and cross-team collaboration

And if you meet the following criteria

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, maintaining and improving scalable automation solutions
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools in real projects – Playwright/Selenium
• Practical experience applying AI in testing (POCs or productive usage, e.g. test generation, analysis, support of AI agents)
• High knowledge in Test Automation Frameworks & Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Integration of automated tests into pipelines and optimization of execution
• Good understanding of environments, dependencies, virtualization and data provisioning
• Ability to analyze complex setups and propose working solutions
